DLHE 2014-15

The Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey data (2014-15) is now available – and it’s great news for London Met:

  • All graduates:
    • EMPLOYMENT – 93.0% of our total 2014-15 graduates were in employment / further study
    • GRADUATE EMPLOYMENT – 74.2% of our total employed 2014-15 graduates were in a ‘professional’ / ‘graduate’ role
  • E1a graduates (i.e. FT, UK-domiciled, First Degree graduates):
    • EMPLOYMENT – 89.4% of this specific ‘E1a’ group were in employment / further study
      • This is the second year in a row in which London Metropolitan can claim to have achieved its highest ever E1a indicator (this statistic has been published annually by HESA for the past 13 years).  Apart from three small institutions which only had around 100 graduates each year our two-year improvement in this statistic (of 8.0%) is the highest achieved by any UK HEI in the same period.  Our latest result of 89.4% is also higher than that of 8 other institutions, including The University of East London, Staffordshire University, The University of Salford, University College Birmingham and The University of Bolton
    • GRADUATE EMPLOYMENT – 60.4% of the employed graduates within this specific E1a group were in a ‘professional’ / ‘graduate’ role
