One of the casualties of the cuts has been community education and the links between informal learning and community based research initiatives. The ARVAC 2016 Public Lecture is one important contribution to reclaiming the potential and power of community education to transform communities and individuals.

Guest speaker Derek Tatton, having worked with and taught for the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) for several decades and currently administrator of the Raymond Williams Foundation and chair of the Raymond Williams Society, will share his wealth of experiences and expertise.
